20+ community business leaders gathered on Tuesday morning, March 11 to begin planning for Brewerytown's biggest day of the year - Girard Avenue Street Festival on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 11am-5:30pm. Registration is now open for neighborhood businesses that will be open and active during the event.

Fairmount Arts Crawl is returning this spring as well - Sunday, April 27. Businesses who want to feature the creative work happening in their space, host an artist, or display work from one of our community makers on their wall can register for free to participate.

We are welcoming all local businesses to join our first Business Appreciation Event, April 1 from 5:30-7:30pm at Aiyah, 1809 Fairmount Ave - celebrating the new and veteran business owners who make Brewerytown, Fairmount, Francisville, and Spring Garden great places to live and work, plus our new brand, Park to Broad District.

Lastly, the group talked about the recent bump in traffic from the Eagles' Super Bowl parade, and the potential for local businesses to benefit from the expected popularity of FIFA Fan Festival 2026 - coming to Lemon Hill for 40 days next summer. We are working with Philadelphia Soccer 2026 to ensure businesses have all they need to adapt and thrive when thousands of first-time visitors get to experience our community en route to the free World Cup festivities nearby. Please continue to share ideas and concerns with the Park to Broad team, and stay tuned for more information on the event from Philly Soccer.
