Brightening Brewerytown: Fairmount CDC's 2023 Safety Enhancements Light Up Girard Avenue and Lemon Hill

See the new snowflakes in Brewerytown? Fairmount CDC led two community safety projects in 2023, adding seasonal lighting to Girard Avenue through grant support from the City of Philadelphia Commerce Department, and new lighting along the walking paths and basketball court at Lemon Hill with a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development's Keystone Communities Program. Our neighbors Carr & Duff, Inc. provided essential in-kind help with both projects. These capped off an exciting year of new projects that we are eager to continue in 2024, with your support.
