Why the Change?

For 25 years, Fairmount Community Development Corporation (CDC) has partnered with residents and businesses to strengthen and uplift the Art Museum community. Over time, we’ve grown alongside the neighborhoods we serve—Fairmount, Brewerytown, Francisville, and Spring Garden—each unique, vibrant, and ever-evolving.

To better reflect our work across multiple neighborhoods, we are proud to reintroduce ourselves as the Park to Broad Arts & Business District. This new identity captures our commitment to fostering a blossoming, thriving, and inclusive community for entrepreneurs, neighbors, and newcomers—offering something for everyone.

What Does the New Name Represent?

The Park to Broad Arts & Business District embodies:

  • A Collaborative Focus: Our work spans the neighborhoods between Fairmount Park and Broad Street, and links three vibrant commercial corridors with Philadelphia’s most unique natural and cultural assets.

  • Community Growth: We are dedicated to supporting growth that includes and reflects each neighborhoods’ unique strengths.

  • Vibrancy and Diversity: Our success relies on welcoming, celebrating and supporting our community’s rich mix of businesses, residents, histories and cultures.

  • A Thriving Arts Scene: Creativity is at the heart of our community, and our aim is to amplify the artistic contributions that make this area so special.

The New Look: A Symbol of Growth

Our new logo, developed with thoughtful stakeholder input, features leaves that symbolize growth, the natural beauty of our green spaces, and the forward momentum of our community. These elements reflect our commitment to progress, innovation, and a thriving future.

Park to Broad for Everyone!

Whether you’re grabbing a coffee at a local shop, working to open a new business, walking to the park with children or enjoying a community event with your partner, the Park to Broad neighborhoods have opportunities for people from all walks of life to find their place and feel at home.

What’s Next?

This rebranding marks a new chapter for our organization. While you will see Fairmount CDC change to Park to Broad, the focus will always be Fairmount, Brewerytown, Spring Garden and Francisville businesses, and our core values remain the same. We are committed to:

  • Supporting community businesses with resources, advocacy, and promotional efforts.

  • Investing in the Girard, Fairmount, and Ridge Avenue commercial corridors.

  • Partnerships to build residents’, business owners’, and community leaders’ power and potential.

  • Creating a safer, cleaner, more accessible, and connected community.
