PhillyiHub helps neighbors turn ideas into action, and grow your business, it is open to everyone from established entrepreneurs to those just starting out. Across six online, evening classes participants learn from neighborhood business leaders and build out their business plan, focusing on:

  • Skills needed to lead a business

  • Finding customers and testing your idea

  • Product pricing and funding

  • Marketing

  • Sustaining your business

  • Presenting and pitching your business

PhillyiHub was created by Mt. Airy CDC’s Business Services Coordinator Aaron Crump in 2016, alongside David Simons of Kingdom Social Media. In fall 2021, with the support from the Wells Fargo Open for Business initiative, Mt. Airy CDC partnered with Fairmount CDC to expand access to the program for neighbors in Fairmount, Brewerytown, Francisville, Sharswood, and Spring Garden.
